I am a tough client when it comes to designing for myself. I wanted to build a new site which reflected my multidisciplinary design work and also be my online creative den. Typography was a primary focal point as I knew the kind of typefaces I wanted to use but needed to get the right balance between display and longform.

I wanted to keep the build technically simple with minimal DRY code and templates. I was always going to build a static site, because I had no need for a CMS and I value the speed of static sites, so I chose to build the site with jekyll.

On this redesign I decided to go with a new domain. Working on a variety of projects and products I wanted a pseudonym rather than my own name which had the flexibility to apply it to anything I make. I strongly believe in developing skills through making and working on side projects as you never know what you might learn, this was a big drive in the creation of this site.

Please take and look around my site and in the near future I will be writing more notes about my design work / process.
